  • 1 cup Cassava flour
  • ¼ cup Avocado oil or olive oil
  • ¼ cup Coconut milk (full-fat)
  • ¼ cp Water (filtered where possible)
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt

  • Preheat your oven to 220°C.
If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cassava flour, avocado oil, coconut milk, water, dried oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until a dough forms.
  • Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet or the preheated pizza stone if using. Place the dough on the parchment paper and use your hands to spread and shape it into a round or rectangular pizza crust.
  • Bake the cassava flour pizza crust in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until it becomes slightly firm and lightly golden.
  • Remove the crust from the oven, add your AIP-friendly pizza toppings, and return it to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the toppings are cooked to your liking.
Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

  • You can refrigerate any leftover crust in an airtight container for a few days.
  • To freeze the crust, let it cool, then wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in a freezer-safe bag. When ready to use, thaw and finish baking with toppings as needed.
