  • 1 Gummy bear molds or a glass dish like a quiche dish
  • 1 medium saucepan
  • 2 Glass bowls
  • 1 whisk

  • 1 cup Orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 cups Filtered water,
  • ½ tsp Turmeric, freshly grated
  • ¼ cup Gelatin (grass-fed)
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup (try to source local) Or other sweetener of your choice

  • Add 1 cup of orange juice and 1 cup of water to a medium pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and grate in the turmeric. Let it sit to infuse for 5 minutes.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into a bowl and sprinkle over the gelatin. Leave it to bloom.
  • Strain the orange-turmeric mixture into a bowl to remove any sediment from the turmeric.
  • Combine both bowls of liquid into one bowl and use a whisk to mix well, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Stir in maple syrup, adjusting the amount to suit your taste. Pour the mixture into gummy bear molds or a glass dish. Put it into the fridge to set. If using a glass dish, refrigerate until set, then use a knife to slice them into cubes and serve.

  • The number of gummies you end up with will depend on your molds.
  • If you’re using a dish, refrigerate until set, then slice into cubes and serve.
